Two thumbs up to Chipotle’s Burrito Bowl
It was Monday night, about 9pm, and I was on an empty stomach. Really, I was on an empty stomach. I have been in school since eleven in the morning, and didn’t eat anything. My last class for the day had just ended, and it was time for me to head back home. As I walked, heading to the bus stop, my stomach growled at me as if was “begging” me to get some food. So, I stopped to think about where can I buy some food, good food that is. Even though I was hungry, I was not in a mood for fast food. I wanted to eat some good food. Food that is tasty and will fill me up. Luckily, one of my classmates was walking to the same direction as I was. I got his attention, and asked him where can I get some food? His first reply was Chipotle. He suggested I go there, and order the Burrito Bowl. At first, I told him that I want to eat real food, not a bowl full of burritos. He laughed, and then explained to me what a Burrito Bowl was.
“Inside the bowl, you get rice, beans, chicken,, cheese, lettuce, and your choice of sauce all mixed together. You get all that for a little under seven bucks.” That’s a lot of food for under seven bucks. I didn’t know where this Chipotle was located so he did the favor and walked me over there, and then left.
I walked in. The line was long, and inside was full of Chipotle lovers. I strolled over to the line and waited. It didn’t take long before I was up next. Before I ordered, I told the person who was serving me that it was my first time eating at Chipotle. Kindly, he gave me my options and was very patience. I chose white rice with black beans, chicken, cheese, lettuce, and topped it off with spicy-mild sauce. As a bonus, the person serving me gave me some of this special guacamole pudding for free just because it was my first time. I tasted it, and it left me licking my lips. After that, I paid for my Burrito Bowl and then made way to an empty table.
My first bite melted my taste buds away. I ate, and ate, and ate until my Burrito Bowl became just a bowl; empty that is. Then, I took my napkin, wiped my mouth, and left to go home. That night, my stomach and I slept like a baby.
I would recommend this Chipotle. It is well worth going to. The service is excellent, fast, and the food is extra-delicious. It’s so delicious that it will melt your taste buds away. How do I know, well through word of mouth, I experience it on a Monday night.
If you’re out and you see a Chipotle restaurant around, I suggest you go in there and try the Burrito Bowl. Trust me, your stomach will love you.
